Job summary

You will coordinate with leadership, train staff, and maintain regulatory adherence while ensuring high-quality patient testing and timely laboratory results.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree; an Associate's with substantial related experience may be accepted.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced leadership and oversight.
• Florida license as Clinical Laboratory Supervisor or eligibility within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Update policies to meet accreditation standards and prepare staff for inspections.
• Review daily work to ensure completeness and accuracy of results.
• Create monthly staffing schedules covering all shifts.
• Maintain inventory control and oversee equipment evaluations and purchases.
• Enforce quality control procedures and report unresolved issues to leadership.
• Supervise and mentor a 30-person laboratory team and participate in hiring decisions.
• Provide instruction and training on theory, safety, and procedures to staff and students.
• Perform and supervise laboratory testing with precision for clinical diagnoses.
• Complete preventative maintenance and document repair logs for equipment.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.
