Job summary

Scott County Health System is seeking a Clinical Informatics Manager to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical information systems. You will collaborate with clinicians and staff to drive system improvements, manage projects, and ensure successful adoption through training and support.

The role focuses on ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and enhanced user experience across the EHR/EMR landscape to improve workflow efficiency and patient care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics or related field preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in electronic medical records, clinical informatics, healthcare technology, or related leadership roles.
• Professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHR/EMR system configuration, maintenance, updates, audits, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of clinical documentation workflows and electronic record processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices related to EHR/EMR and clinical informatics.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, privacy laws, and health information management requirements.
• Coordinate and manage system implementations, upgrades, and workflow improvements.
• Provide training and ongoing support to staff on EHR functionality and best practices.
• Develop and distribute reports, dashboards, and insights to support quality improvement and decision-making.
