Job summary

Northeast Valley Health Corporation seeks a Clinician Informatician who will lead the clinical IT applications, including EHR modules and registries, at the direction of the Chief Medical Officer. The role requires liaison between clinical staff and IT to optimize system use, education, and training, as well as evaluating needs for informatics solutions in ambulatory care.

A current CA license and clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed medical professional with CA license and board-eligible or board-certified in primary care
• Experience implementing, optimizing, and supporting EHRs and clinical decision support systems
• Minimum 3–5 years of ambulatory care clinical work in FQHC/related setting
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to map clinical practices to informatics needs and redesign workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and optimization of clinical IT applications (EHR modules, registries) at NEVHC
• Collaborate with IT, clinical staff and physicians; provide education and ongoing technical support
• Evaluate needs for clinical IT applications and assist in selecting new tools
• Monitor performance, ensure security, privacy and regulatory compliance; communicate with vendors
