Job summary

The American College of Radiology (ACR) is seeking a Sr. Clinical Guidelines Assistant to support physicians scheduling calls, organizing meetings, and maintaining member databases while developing clinical practice guidelines and managing communications.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and seven-plus years of related experience, with strong MS Word/Excel skills, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently and under ambiguity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 7+ years' related work experience – ideally in an Association setting
  • Command of MS Word, Excel, and similar office software systems required
  • Detail oriented; active listening and strong keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work with ambiguity
  • Organized, able to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Responsibilities

  • Partner with physician members and other health professionals to schedule committee meetings and calls, manage program calendars, and complete tasks.
  • Work with committee chairs to establish priorities and committee assignments including initiating and managing program processes and interdepartmental communications.
  • Perform, maintain, and execute committee management, individual member profiles and contact information, and recruitment of representatives.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to document creation, such as review and edit documents for adherence to program, process, and methodological standards.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to publications, educational offerings, and websites as related to guideline dissemination.
  • Note and track the completion of action items from calls and meetings.
  • May staff or support one or more ACR Committees and/or Commissions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
