Job summary

American Society of Clinical Oncology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Guideline Specialist to lead the development and modernization of evidence-based clinical guidance products.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology experts to oversee rigorous literature reviews and guideline life cycles, including living guidelines and other guidance outputs. The role requires a Master’s degree and 5+ years in guideline development, with experience in digital authoring platforms, CMS, and AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field (e.g., Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Research Methodology)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in guideline development/evidence synthesis
• Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals
• Experience with digital guideline authoring platforms and AI-assisted research tools

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and execution of clinical practice guidelines and other guidance products.
• Oversee evidence-based literature reviews, including protocol development, data extraction, and reporting.
• Support guideline advisory groups and internal teams throughout the development cycle.
• Champion AI-augmented tools to optimize workflows in literature search, screening, and evidence synthesis.
