Job summary

Ascend Vision Partners is seeking a Senior Integration and Clinical Applications Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert for the organization’s primary clinical and administrative platforms: Nextech IntelliChart Pro EHR and Nextech Practice Plus PM across multiple locations. This role leads implementations, conversions, and go-live activities, ensuring data integrity and optimal workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare IT, health information management, information systems, business, or related field.
• Four+ years supporting ambulatory EHR/PM systems, preferably ophthalmology or multi-site practices.
• Direct experience with Nextech IntelliChart Pro, Nextech Practice Plus, or comparable ophthalmology EHR/PM.
• Experience across the system implementation lifecycle: requirements, configuration, testing, go-live, post-live support.
• Strong knowledge of ambulatory clinical, scheduling, billing, and revenue cycle workflows.
• HIPAA and patient-data privacy understanding; access controls.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project-management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate requirements across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead workflow assessments across clinical and administrative teams to identify inefficiencies and opportunities.
• Design and implement configurations aligning Nextech with workflows; document procedures and training materials.
• Lead system implementations, conversions, upgrades, and roadmaps for new modules and interfaces.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and risk management with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Plan pre-go-live integration and validate migrated data; develop go-live checklists and training.
• Monitor post-go-live performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
