Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical development in the PF 4404 program. You will oversee trial design, conduct, and analysis and collaborate with regulatory, pharmacovigilance, biostatistics, and medical affairs to ensure scientific and regulatory standards.

You will provide medical guidance to the clinical operations team, investigators, and health authorities, with travel ~4 times per year and hybrid on-site work. This senior role reports to the Global Development Lead.

Qualifications

• Senior medical leader with MD/DO-level qualification and 4+ years licensed practice.
• Experience directing clinical development and trials within oncology or related fields.
• Ability to interact with investigators, ethics committees, and health authorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across 2-3 study teams with scientific rigor.
• Conduct medical monitoring: eligibility, data review, safety oversight.
• Lead peer interactions with investigators and serve as clinical contact.
• Contribute to trial documents and regulatory submissions with cross-functional partners.
• Interpret data, identify key findings, and advise stakeholders accordingly.
