Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Clinical Development Medical Executive Director to lead the development strategy for oncology programs and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will define strategy, oversee regulatory interactions, and ensure alignment with product plans.

This hybrid role requires NY commuting distance and on-site presence part of the week. The ideal candidate has a medical degree or advanced clinical degree with 5+ years of leadership in clinical development and late-phase oncology

Qualifications

• Medical degree or advanced degree with relevant clinical/industry experience (typically 5+ years).
• Experience leading diverse teams and managing medical directors or clinical scientists.
• Late-phase drug development experience in oncology.
• Licensed/registered to practice medicine or eligible for regulatory roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead Global Development Team (GDT) and serve as SME on clinical issues.
• Develop and execute the clinical development plan for one or more indications.
• Endorse clinical decisions in advance of governance bodies and senior management.
• Oversee and manage clinical protocols, amendments, and investigator brochures.
• Coordinate clinical data interpretation and reporting to internal/external stakeholders.
• Maintain updated clinical expertise and monitor industry guidelines.
