Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist who will direct and support multiple health data projects from a remote setting. You will work with clinical and business teams to define data requirements, develop population definitions, and deliver actionable insights using BI tools and statistical methods.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in health-related field or RN, at least two years in healthcare data, and experience with ECQM and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health related fields or RN licensed.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in health related field.
• Experience with healthcare data in a healthcare organization strongly preferred.
• 2 years of experience in ECQM and quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
• Evaluates requests for service to clarify business and technical issues with the client.
• Collaborates with the client to understand business needs, scope, and deliverables.
• Leads ongoing client interface to develop analytic approaches.
• Develops population definitions to meet project needs.
• Recommends data processes balancing needs and urgency for action.
• Uses statistical techniques to describe and evaluate data.
