Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BCLS certification is required (AHA).
• 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a busy practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between physicians, patients, families and providers to coordinate patient care.
• Leads daily activities of the physician team staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Travel to multiple sites as needed for physician coverage and patient care.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures, take vitals, prepare rooms and specimens.
• Manage patient records and referrals, coordinate with labs, imaging and homecare providers.
• Mentor Medical Assistant I and II staff and support other clinical team members.
