Job summary

Father Joe’s Villages is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee Village Health Center’s administrative operations, including patient access, scheduling, records, credentialing, quality improvement, EHR support, and reporting.

This full-time role emphasizes coaching supervisors, optimizing workflows, and partnering with clinical and administrative leaders to advance patient experience and regulatory compliance in a mission-driven FQHC setting in San Diego.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required.
Minimum seven (7) years in healthcare operations or admin leadership.
At least three (3) years supervisory/management experience.
Experience improving processes and achieving performance goals.
Experience with healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for health center support functions (patient access, scheduling, referrals, registration, medical records, credentialing, quality improvement, EHR support).
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and administrative teams.
Evaluate and improve workflows to boost efficiency and care experience.
Use data and metrics to identify improvements and strengthen outcomes.
Ensure compliance with FQHC, HRSA, HIPAA, payer requirements, and policies.
Partner with clinical leaders and stakeholders on quality initiatives and audits.
Lead projects and cross-functional change initiatives.
Support planning, budgeting, and resource management for patient care.
