Job summary

Father Joe’s Villages is seeking a Manager of Clinic Administrative Operations in San Diego, CA. You will oversee patient access, scheduling, referrals, medical records, credentialing, and reporting to ensure high-quality care at the Village Health Center.

You will lead supervisors and administrative teams, optimize workflows, and align operations with FQHC/HIPAA requirements while partnering with clinical leaders to drive performance and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Information Management, or related field.
• Minimum seven years of progressively responsible healthcare operations or administrative leadership.
• At least three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience leading healthcare operations, developing teams, and improving processes.
• Experience applying healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and quality improvement practices.
• Experience supporting EHR systems, reporting, and data-informed operational improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for clinic support functions including patient access, scheduling, referrals, registration, medical records, credentialing, quality improvement, EHR support, and related services.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and administrative teams to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and improve workflows and systems to enhance efficiency and the patient experience.
• Use data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and strengthen operational outcomes.
• Ensure operations align with FQHC/HRSA rules, HIPAA standards, payer requirements, and internal policies.
• Partner with clinical leaders, Compliance, Revenue Cycle, and other stakeholders on quality initiatives and audits.
• Lead projects and cross-functional change initiatives to improve systems and service delivery.
• Support operational planning, staffing, budgeting, and resource management for patient care.
