Job summary

The City of Indianapolis & Marion County seeks a senior operations supervisor for Marion County Community Corrections. You’ll oversee team leaders and frontline staff, develop case plans, coordinate services, and monitor programming to support public safety and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related field.
• Eight (8) years of experience within a similar field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Must pass State IRAS certification exam within six (6) months of employment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge in leadership, management, contracts, personnel and process performance measurement, investigative principles and practices used in insuring compliance with state and federal laws, regulations and court evidence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the performance of team leaders and frontline team members at Marion County Community Corrections facilities.
• Supervise client handling, development of case plans, referrals to services, and programming.
• Manage processing of client arrivals/releases, court appearances, and monitoring of electronic monitoring equipment.
• Ensure day-to-day operations align with evidence-based practices and public safety.
• On-call 24/7 with rotating weekends/holidays; assist in policy formulation and agency-wide decisions.
