Job summary

Located in New York, Ares Management seeks an experienced Client Services professional in its AWMS unit to support investor servicing and complex transfer agency workflows. You will work with institutional and offshore clients, handle onboarding, and ensure high-quality shareholder servicing for investors and advisors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of investor servicing experience in Alternative Investments or with transfer agents/product sponsors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to learn and utilize service provider technology systems.
• Effective communication with external financial advisor clients and investors.
• Highly organized with a conscientious approach to work and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and execution of processing workflows for high-quality shareholder servicing.
• Oversee inbound inquiries, research shareholder issues, and make outbound calls as needed.
• Support transfer agent functions by monitoring service levels and coordinating between broker-dealer partners.
• Lead through expertise and collaboration to support team development and cross-functional partnerships within a distributed team.
• Document repeatable procedures and training materials for new hires and cross-functional partners.
