Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Complaint Specialist to provide full resolution of verbal and written client complaints across central business units. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and professional communication with clients and branches.

The position also involves serving as a mentor, acting as a super user for theComplaint Management System, and coordinating with Mortgage, Community Bank, and other units to resolve complex cases.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, or equivalent education and related training.
• Five years of high levels of performance in a financial services call center, bank operations or retail lending.
• Excellent client service skills and problem resolution ability.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, listening and attention to detail.
• Experience with compliance regulations and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide full resolution and response to verbal and written client complaints for centrally supported business units in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Ensure timely, accurate intake of complaints and effective communication with clients and business units.
• Serve as a mentor for peers in complex complaint resolution.
• Act as a super user for the Complaint Management System and ensure data accuracy for reporting and analysis.
• Escalate trends to management and coordinate across units when needed.
• Work remotely on Saturdays and in office on other scheduled work days.
