Job summary

Truist is seeking team-oriented professionals to deliver exceptional client service in a Retail Community Bank setting. The role combines teller duties with consultative sales to expand client relationships and meet financial goals.

Responsibilities include advising on lending, processing transactions, and adhering to policies while delivering a positive, courteous client experience in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of client sales and service experience.
• Ability to source and prospect for new clients and build relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days and meet regulatory standards.
• Ability to multi-task and travel as needed.
• Weekend and extended hours availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry leading client service in person and by phone.
• Develop and expand client relationships through consultative conversations.
• Refer to internal specialists for complex needs or goals.
• Cross trained to perform teller duties as needed.
• Participate in branch sales processes and leadership routines.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Greet clients, conduct transactions, and identify opportunities to meet needs.
