Job summary

RKL Virtual Management Solutions LLC seeks a Client Payroll Senior Specialist to independently manage end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients in our Virtual Workforce Strategies practice. You will be the primary day-to-day contact, resolving complex payroll and tax issues while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires strong attention to detail, multitasking, and a deep understanding of payroll regulations at federal, state, and local levels.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in accounting, business, HR, or related field.
• Three or more years of payroll-processing experience, including full-cycle payroll.
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely process payrolls for assigned clients, ensuring all calculations are correct.
• Review personal work for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with the setup and integration of new payroll clients, ensuring a smooth transition and accurate implementation of payroll services.
• Provide support in responding to and resolving tax notices, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and accurately.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations and changes to pay rates.
• Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
• Maintain client and employee data and analyze information per client circumstances.
• Provide ongoing training to clients regarding the online service model and technologies.
