Job summary

DEPT® is seeking an Associate Director, Media Client Partner in a remote US role to lead senior client relationships and cross-channel media strategies. You will own day-to-day client management, activation, and collaborate across activation, data, planning, and tech teams to deliver high-quality growth marketing outcomes.

This role requires 7+ years in client-facing digital media, leadership, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in client-facing roles with cross-channel, digital media planning and activation contexts.
• Natural, proven leadership instincts; able to earn client trust.
• Clear and concise communication to stakeholders, written and verbal.
• Ability to provide strategic guidance across paid media channels (search, social, display, video).
• Hands-on experience with major platforms (Google, Bing, Meta) and major DSPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client rapport as trusted advisor and face of the account team.
• Understand each client's holistic business, goals, and competitive landscape.
• Coordinate multi-discipline activation teams for full-funnel cross-channel campaigns.
• Define channel mix and budget allocations by channel.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Search, Social, Programmatic, Data/Analytics, Creative, SEO/CRO.
• Lead regular check-ins with senior client contacts and translate feedback into action plans.
• Own major deliverables and presentations (QBRs, annual reviews, strategy meetings).
• Anticipate risks, opportunities, and future client needs.
