Level / Title: Global Client Partner – Strategic Global Beverage Account
Grade: Director – Consumer (L6)
Reporting To: CPG Business Head
Work Location: Remote from Atlanta, Georgia, USA
Experience Required: 15–20 Years
Role Type: Team Leader working closely with sales and delivery teams
About the Opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Global Client Partner to lead and grow business with one of the world’s largest beverage ecosystems, spanning global corporate functions, regional Operating Units (OUs), and bottling partners across approximately 80 markets.
This represents a unique opportunity to build and scale a significant global business. The role carries end-to-end responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, client relationships, and delivery excellence, with Client Partners and Delivery leaders reporting directly into the position.
A critical part of the mandate is to originate, shape, and close large, multiyear strategic deals that expand the business from individual engagements to enterprise-wide transformation partnerships.
We are looking for a leader who can navigate this complexity, build trusted relationships with senior business and technology executives, and establish the organization as a strategic partner in driving commercial growth, operational performance, and technology-enabled transformation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own the Global Client Relationship and Growth Agenda
- Take end-to-end ownership of the global business, including revenue growth, profitability, client relationships, and long-term account development.
- Develop and execute a global account strategy connecting corporate functions, Operating Units, and bottling partners.
- Build a coordinated growth plan that balances global enterprise opportunities with regional and local market priorities.
- Identify and pursue large, strategic opportunities that expand the organization's presence across geographies, business functions, and service offerings.
- Establish executive relationships and position the organization as a trusted strategic partner rather than a transactional services provider.
2. Originate and Close Large, Multiyear Strategic Deals
- Proactively identify and create large, multiyear opportunities aligned with the client's strategic business priorities.
- Engage senior business and technology executives to shape transformation agendas and influence investment decisions.
- Develop compelling business cases that connect organizational capabilities with measurable financial and operational outcomes.
- Structure complex, multiyear deals spanning multiple capabilities, business functions, and markets.
- Lead strategic pursuits from opportunity creation through solution development, commercial negotiations, and deal closure.
- Build executive sponsorship and align stakeholders across global, regional, and local organizations.
- Convert successful engagements into larger, long-term enterprise partnerships.
3. Build Senior-Level Relationships Across the Client Ecosystem
- Develop strong relationships with senior leaders across commercial, marketing, revenue growth management, supply chain, finance, digital, data, and technology functions.
- Navigate the client's federated operating structure, understanding how priorities, budgets, and decisions differ across corporate functions, Operating Units, and bottlers.
- Connect global strategic priorities with regional and local business needs.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and executive sponsors to create sustainable, multiyear partnerships.
- Engage confidently with C-suite executives and senior business leaders on their most important growth and transformation priorities.
4. Drive Business Growth Through Data, Analytics, and AI
- Identify and develop strategic opportunities across commercial transformation, revenue growth management, route-to-market, customer and shopper analytics, marketing effectiveness, supply chain, and enterprise performance.
- Translate business challenges into compelling propositions leveraging data, analytics, AI, and technology.
- Work with consulting, technology, data science, and delivery teams to develop differentiated solutions.
- Develop repeatable offerings that can be scaled across business functions and markets.
- Expand existing engagements into broader enterprise relationships through demonstrable business outcomes.
5. Connect Global Strategy With Local Market Execution
- Understand the different operating realities of developed and emerging markets and their implications for commercial and technology priorities.
- Identify opportunities to scale successful solutions across Operating Units and bottling partners while accounting for local market differences.
- Develop repeatable propositions and delivery models that can be deployed across multiple markets.
- Balance enterprise standardization with the flexibility required by local businesses.
- Build alignment across stakeholders who may have different priorities, investment capacities, and operating models.
6. Lead Commercial Performance and Global Delivery
- Own the overall P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, pipeline development, and forecasting.
- Lead a global organization comprising Client Partners, Delivery leaders, and cross-functional teams.
- Set clear growth, profitability, client satisfaction, and delivery performance objectives across the organization.
- Develop and execute annual and multiyear business plans with clear growth priorities.
- Ensure delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and measurable business value across all engagements.
- Build a high-performing leadership team with clear accountability for business development, account growth, and delivery execution.
- Establish strong governance across commercial performance, delivery operations, talent development, and client relationships.
