Job summary

Empathy is seeking a Senior Client Marketing Manager to build and lead the strategic client marketing function. The role sits at the intersection of Client Success, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and our clients, translating insights into a marketing strategy that drives launches, activation and adoption, internal readiness, expansion, and long-term client retention.

You’ll own the operating model for how Marketing engages across the client lifecycle, establish goals and success metrics,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of client marketing, customer marketing, product marketing, or related discipline.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong understanding of marketing strategy, customer communications, product launches, and lifecycle.
• Experience building processes, frameworks, and operating models in growth environments.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration, aligning stakeholders and driving initiatives.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking with KPIs and measured outcomes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at executive level.
• Client-first mindset with judgment on standardization vs customization.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and balancing strategy with execution.
• Strong AI fluency and ability to apply AI tools to improve thinking and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic marketing SME for key client implementations and early discovery.
• Translate client needs and objectives into marketing strategy, communications, and touchpoint recommendations.
• Own the connection between Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Client Success, Implementation and Product.
• Establish and own the marketing operating model across the client lifecycle with milestones and handoffs.
• Partner with Client Success and implementation teams to ensure messaging, campaigns, and resources for launches.
• Develop repeatable frameworks and playbooks for client marketing engagement.
• Build feedback loops to inform Product Marketing, Marketing, Product and leadership.
• Own client advocacy strategy including stories, testimonials, case studies, and references.
• Lead Empathy’s Customer Advisory Board with senior leaders and translate insights into actions.
• Manage relationships across Marketing and Client Success to deepen engagement and demonstrate value.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and internal teams.
