Job summary

Gallagher Benefit Services, part of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support client accounts in a trusted advisory capacity. You will maintain relationships, guide renewal discussions, and coordinate with internal teams to tailor coverage solutions.

The role emphasizes service quality, retention, and opportunities to expand coverage, within a collaborative, growth-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service/claims management experience required or high school with 10+ years in similar roles.
• 1+ years supervisory experience and appropriate licensing as required.
• Previous insurance knowledge and client relationship management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own an assigned group of accounts and ensure high quality client support.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and coordinate with production for tailored solutions.
• Identify opportunities to retain existing business and add new lines of coverage.
• Balance service goals with revenue targets and ensure smooth client experiences.

How you'll make an impact

• Own an assigned group of accounts and help make sure each client gets steady, high quality support.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and their day to day contacts, stay close to the renewal process, and work with the production team to help shape the right solution for each account.
• Help secure existing business and look for new service and coverage opportunities that fit client needs.
• As you manage complex accounts and keep an eye on service, margin, and revenue targets, you'll help create a smooth client experience and strengthen long term relationships.

About You

Required:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience

-OR-

• High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
• 1+ years supervisory experience. Appropriate licensing as required.

Preferred:

• Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships.
• Solid financial acumen.

• Ability to explain renewal options and coverage choices in simple terms.
• Ability to spot opportunities to support retention and add new lines of coverage when they make sense for the client.

• Comfortably engages others in consultative discussion.
