Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and quality.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online, Yardi, Bill.com, NetSuite, Expensify or similar software.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for clients, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations, staying updated on changes and implementing necessary adjustments
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and improve accuracy through automation and best practices
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic financial advice to support their growth and success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience within client accounting services in a public accounting firm
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
