Atchley & Associates, LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant in Wisconsin who will manage full cycle client accounting services and produce GAAP-based financial statements. At the senior level, individuals are expected to be well-versed in the Firm’s policies and procedures, fully understand the AICPA’s rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct, and possess a strong knowledge of relevant IRS regulations and codes. A working proficiency in research techniques is also essential. Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent time management skills are critical for success in this role. Senior-level individuals must demonstrate strong project management, organizational, and client relationship capabilities, excelling in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively. Additionally, this role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. A quick learner, the candidate should also be able to adapt to new software and collaborate seamlessly with both individual team members and the broader team.

The base compensation for this position is $78,000 - $95,000 annually, DOE. Residents of California or New York will not be considered at this time. Position is available for remote, hybrid or on site work.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline
A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a client-focused environment in public accounting, or a combination of public accounting and industry experience, with a strong background in preparing GAAP-based financial statements.
Highly proficient in working in a cloud environment, with strong technology skills using a computer or laptop, mouse, and keyboard with multiple monitors.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as Quickbooks Online is required. Experience in Bill.com, Xero, Gusto, Fixed Asset Manager, Workflow, Adobe Acrobat with PDF Flyer, and CaseWare is preferred.
