Parks Tax & Consulting PLLC offers a part-time W-2 bookkeeping role based in Magnolia, TX, or fully remote within the United States. The position provides approximately 25 hours per week at $30-$40 per hour, with potential for more hours as responsibilities expand.

Start date is immediate and performance may lead to increased hours. The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional who works independently with strong technical expertise, managing multi-client portfolios and providing

Competenze

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible bookkeeping or small-business accounting experience.
• Ability to independently manage accounting for multiple businesses across different industries.
• Strong understanding of accrual and cash-basis accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, adjusting entries, fixed assets, loans, and payroll-related liabilities.
• Experience preparing financial statements and independently managing monthly closing procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a CPA firm or managing accounting for multiple small businesses, including year-end reconciliations and 1099 workpapers.

Mansioni

• Independently manage monthly bookkeeping, bank feeds, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Review general ledger activity, identify discrepancies, and prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Reconcile payroll, employee benefits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related balance sheet accounts.
• Record fixed asset purchases, disposals, depreciation adjustments, and loan activity.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations; CPA review where appropriate.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns as applicable.
• Manage W-9 collection, vendor reviews, 1099 eligibility evaluations, and annual 1099 filing.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies, vendor questions, and client inquiries.
• Prepare accurate, complete, and timely financial reports and supporting documentation.
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams; escalate CPA determinants when needed.
