Job summary

R & W Group is seeking a Client Account Manager in Seattle for a hybrid leadership role. You will supervise a team of Client Account Specialists and partner with attorneys to manage client billing, collections, and account management.

The position focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in the firm\'s billing processes while delivering exceptional client service. The role emphasizes collaboration with eBilling and Finance teams, overseeing month-end activities, and driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Five+ years of experience in billing, client accounting, collections, or financial operations.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience with Aderant systems (Classic, Expert, BillBlast).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional internal and external client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Account Specialists, providing training and day-to-day support.
• Partner closely with attorneys and professionals to manage client billing, collections, and account activities.
• Oversee preparation, review, and distribution of client invoices with accuracy and compliance.
• Manage month-end billing activities, monitor work in progress, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with eBilling, Rate Analysts, and finance staff on billing and rate management.
• Analyze billing activity, prepare management reports, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
• Review client accounts to ensure matters are maintained, transferred, or closed appropriately.
• Foster strong relationships with attorneys through regular in-person collaboration in Seattle.
