Job summary

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP is seeking a Senior Client Account Specialist to own the full billing and collections lifecycle for a portfolio of partners. You will coordinate with partners, practice groups, and finance teams to ensure accurate, timely invoicing and prompt payment, while maintaining outside counsel guidelines and client requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of billing and client relationship experience at a law firm.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word, with ability to prepare partner-ready materials.
• Deep knowledge of legal billing systems, preferably Aderant, and related processes.
• Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end billing and collection process for assigned partners and practice groups.
• Monitor aging AR reports and drive on-time, full payments; lead follow-ups.
• Update finance reports daily for timely, high-quality management reviews.
• Collaborate with Billing, Pricing, and ebilling teams to ensure accurate invoices.
