Job summary

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission seeks an experienced Term Contract Classification and Compensation Analyst to support the agency’s Workday ERP/HCM implementation and sustain its compensation strategy.

The role requires strong knowledge of classification and compensation principles, excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS tools such as Workday or Lawson/Infor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field.
• Experience in classification and compensation work.
• Knowledge of Workday or HRIS.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-volume workload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job classifications and evaluations using point-factor system.
• Develop classification specifications/PDs and determine FLSA designation.
• Analyze salary structures, equity requests, and reclassification needs.
• Participate in salary surveys and market pricing.
• Assist with Workday implementation, testing, and training.
• Interact with clients daily.
