M-NCPPC is seeking an experiencedTerm Contract Classification and Compensation Analystto join our team and support the implementation of the Commission’s new enterprise-wide Workday ERP/Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This is a critical backfill position designed to maintain business continuity and seamless execution of our Agency’s compensation strategy.
This Term Contract, Classification and Compensation Analyst (Corporate Human Resources Specialist III) will play a crucial role in supplementing the Classification and Compensation Team as they continue to support the organizational goals and objectives and simultaneously implement the new Workday ERP/Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This position plays a vital role by providing dedicated capacity to handle peak workloads, clear classification backlogs, and ensure competitive compensation structures.
The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of and experience in classification and compensation principles and practices and its applications; be motivated and a self-starter with good analytical, collaborative, written and oral communication skills; strong analytical and research skills to compile and analyze data and present logical conclusions; ability to handle a high volume of work; and proficient using Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and HRIS (preferably Workday or Lawson/Infor).
Previous experience in Classification and Compensation utilizing Workday system; Workday position management experience; and Workday certifications.
