Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Class Action Attorney to join its employment law practice in Seattle, WA. This role targets an experienced litigator with a strong class action background who can develop client relationships and contribute to growing the practice.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of employment litigation and class action experience, with a track record defending employers in discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour matters, plus Washington Bar admission.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of employment litigation and class action experience.
• Significant class action experience required.
• Experience defending employers in discrimination, wrongful termination, covenants, and wage/hour disputes.
• Strong academic credentials and ability to manage multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in complex employment litigation and class action matters.
• Handle disputes involving discrimination, wrongful termination, covenants, wage and hour issues.
• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions and other substantive briefs.
• Prepare agency position statements and regulatory submissions.
• Develop litigation strategies and advocate effectively for clients.
• Advise employers regarding workplace policies and day-to-day employment law matters.
• Collaborate with class action attorneys and broader litigation teams.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to practice growth.

Senior Class Action Attorney

to join a leading employment law firm. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced employment litigator with significant class action experience to work closely with established attorneys, develop meaningful client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of a successful practice.The ideal candidate will have

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of employment litigation and class action experience.
• Significant class action experience required.
• Experience defending employers in matters involving discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour disputes.
• Experience advising clients on workplace policies and day-to-day employment law issues is a plus.
• Strong experience drafting discovery, pleadings, dispositive motions, and agency position statements.
• Excellent persuasive writing and advocacy skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent analytical and legal research abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to client service and professional development.
• Washington Bar admission required.

Compensation

$225,000-$260,000 annually, plus eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Actual compensation will depend on experience, seniority, skills, qualifications, and other applicable factors.
