Job summary

Diversified Transportation is hiring a Class A Maintenance Repair Technician to diagnose and repair large bus fleets for mining transport operations. The role requires proficiency in major systems, engine/transmission work, and performing road calls to keep vehicles safe and reliable.

Masters ASE certification is encouraged; candidates should have 5 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience and a valid CDL/DOT physical. OSHA and EPA compliance are essential in this safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• Complete understanding of design, vehicle electronics, overhaul knowledge for transmissions and heavy-duty engines.
• Ability to work with diagnostic equipment.
• Able to prioritize and manage time pressures.
• Strong communication with maintenance staff and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs buses on major systems including engine, transmission, electrical and mechanical defects.
• Perform upgrades and modifications on bus systems and equipment.
• Complete road calls and in-house repairs using various tools.
• Document work in RTA Software and use CMMS for trends.
• Ensure safety and OSHA/EPA compliance.
