Qualifications

• 7-9 years of claims handling/operations experience
• Advanced organizational and planning skills
• Advanced oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lead change
• Valid driver’s license with DMV record
• CPCU certification required

Responsibilities

• Ensure vendor contracts meet legal and regulatory requirements and monitor performance; take corrective actions as needed
• Manage a portfolio of vendor contracts including governance, strategy, risk, and compliance; coordinate executive reviews
• Recruit and develop staff; oversee staffing and succession planning; coach employees
• Provide growth opportunities; delegate authority appropriately; align decisions with company goals
• Communicate unit goals and reinforce performance expectations; drive innovative solutions to organizational issues
• Ensure effective unit-level communication with internal and external customers; address service issues promptly
• Prepare reports on performance, cost, staffing and resource allocation; participate in meetings and projects
• Participate in committees and projects to support organizational objectives
