Job summary

Erie Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Claims Manager to supervise and train assigned claims adjusters across our Silver Spring, Hagerstown, and Richmond offices. You will oversee performance, review claims for coverage, and coordinate with legal counsel as needed.

The role may require travel for catastrophe events and requires strong leadership, knowledge of claims procedures, and the ability to manage complex file reviews.

Qualifications

• Six years of claims related experience or higher education with related experience.
• Associate degree with four years of claims experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years of claims experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations for designated area and supervise personnel.
• Review claims for coverage and reserves; advise on actions.
• Provide guidance on claims questions and procedures.
• Assist Claims Manager and may act on manager’s behalf.
• Travel on Catastrophe Team may be required.
