Job summary

AMSURG, a national leader in ambulatory surgery centers, seeks a Sr. Manager of Claims to lead the end-to-end claims lifecycle in Risk Management.

This remote-first role requires strategic leadership, analytics, and collaboration with executives and external partners to protect financial resilience. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in claims, strong knowledge of Workers' Comp, Property, General and Professional Liability, and a track record of driving process improvements across multiple centers

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a claims handler or in a senior claims role.
• Strong understanding of workers' compensation, property, general liability, and professional liability claims.
• Knowledge of reserve setting and loss data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Owns evaluation and investigation of incidents, liabilities, and claims; determines compensability.
• Leads litigation management with external adjusters and defense counsel.
• Drives strategic vision and operational excellence for the claims function.
• Advises Finance, Legal, IT, Real Estate, and Operations on risk management.
