Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist to resolve injury claims in a hybrid role, four days per month in-office for meetings and training. You will investigate complex claims, including attorney-represented matters, gathering information from police, medical professionals and claimants to determine coverage, liability and total claim value.

Strong negotiation, organization and problem-solving abilities are essential to reach settlements while receiving coaching from a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved.
• Determine coverage, liability and total claim value.
