Job summary

Arbella Insurance Group is seeking an experienced claims professional to investigate and resolve first and third party claims across multiple lines including property, auto, and liability. You will guide legal counsel through the litigation process and mentor junior staff to support onboarding and training programs.

The role emphasizes timely case activity, negotiation of settlements, and subrogation efforts, with salary range around $80,000–$85,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of equivalent work related experience
• 2 or more years as a Claim Service Specialist II
• Excellent communication, customer service and collaboration skills
• Where applicable pass the state licensing requirements
• Valid driver's license in good standing

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve first and third party material damage, WC, PIP, BI, GL and Property claims with focus on intermediate exposure
• Provide guidance to legal counsel during litigation to ensure favorable resolution
• Mentor new employees during onboarding
• Negotiate settlements with individuals, attorneys, and other insurance carriers within granted authority
• Pursue subrogation and manage salvage to maximize recovery
• Prepare detailed scope of damages on property losses and coordinate with experts as needed
• Manage litigation with counsel and ensure coverages are not exceeded
