Qualifications

• 1+ years of general office and/or retail and service industry experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of all claim activities to maximize service and minimize net loss.
• Contact insureds, claimants and witnesses in person, by phone or in writing.
• Input and retrieve information using the automated claims system.
• Evaluate coverage, liability and reserves; report on settlements.
• Negotiate settlements within granted authority; keep management informed.
• Pursue subrogation and arrange salvage to maximize recovery.
• Provide information to local agents and other parties on claim status.
• Maintain and document claim files; complete in-house training.
