Job summary

AAA Life Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Claims Support Analyst to conduct quality audits across Life, Annuity, and A&H claims, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to processes. The role supports management with reporting, staff coaching, and process improvement.

You will review regulatory changes, update procedures, and maintain audit criteria, while assisting with workflow management and service recovery initiatives. Strong analytics and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• ALHC Designation is preferred.
• FLHC Designation within 24 months of job acceptance.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Life/Health Claims, Underwriting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits for all claim types (Life, Annuity, A&H) to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal processes.
• Develop and provide reports to management; deliver coaching to staff as needed.
• Review regulatory changes and update procedures; communicate changes to staff.
• Develop and maintain audit review criteria; establish sample size for audits.
• Provide secondary signoff on claims after audit completion (payments/denials).
• Review monthly reconciliation reports and assist staff in corrections.
• Analyze quality results to prepare new training content; improve department performance.
• Oversee service recovery and respond to complaints (DID, BBB) as needed.
• Assist with workflow management and queue routing; report queue status daily.
• Create/update process documentation and train staff on changes.
• Act as liaison for Internal Audit and assist with external audits.
