Job summary
GEICO is seeking a Senior or Principal Claims Product Tester to join our Claims Platform team. You will validate new system functionality, run both manual and automated tests, and ensure high-quality releases for internal and external users.
You will collaborate with Product, Technology, and Business stakeholders, design and maintain automation, and drive testing best practices across Agile and Waterfall projects to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Experience with software testing practices.
- Experience executing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated testing activities across Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Validate user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
- Test claims system enhancements, configuration changes, and new product features prior to production release.
- Identify, document, track, and communicate defects, missed requirements, and business process gaps.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve quality and reduce risk.
