Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Claims Manager to lead a team of Claims Associates across property, casualty, and builders risk lines in Falls Church, VA.

You will oversee claim file quality, reserve accuracy, and settlements within delegated authority while coordinating with carriers and defense counsel on complex matters. The role reports to the Claims Director and requires 7+ years of multi-line commercial claims experience, with strong coaching skills and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7+ years of multi-line commercial claims experience, with mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of reserves, handling practices, and coverage evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Claims Associates in property, casualty, and builders risk.
• Review claim files, set reserves, and approve settlements within authority.
• Coordinate with carriers, TPAs, defense counsel, and brokers on investigations and settlements.
• Prepare claims performance reports and support process improvements.
