Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a claims specialist in Alaska to resolve large-loss injury claims over $60k. You will investigate complex cases and consult with police, medical professionals, claimants, and others to determine coverage, liability, and total claim value.

The role is hybrid, with four days per month in the office for meetings and coaching. You may work more in office if you prefer. Compensation reflects location and experience, with an annual gainshare opportunity.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling or
• Three years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree or
• Five years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk claims valued over $60k.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others.
• Determine coverage, liability, and total value of the claim.
