Markel in Red Bank, NJ is seeking a claims professional to handle moderate complexity workers’ compensation claims across jurisdictions. You will review coverage, set reserves within authority, and support mediation participation while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, an adjuster’s license, and at least 5 years of claims handling experience. Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Adjusters’ license in at least one jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of claims handling experience.

Responsabilidades

• Handles claims in all jurisdictions.
• Handles litigated and non-litigated property damage claims with values up to $250,000.
• Handles non-litigated bodily injury claims with values up to $250,000 in all jurisdictions.
• Confirms coverage of claims by reviewing policies and documents submitted in support of claims.
• Analyzes coverage and communicates coverage positions.
• Drafts coverage position letters.
• Identify losses which should be reported to SIU.
• Conducts, coordinates, and directs investigation into loss facts and extent of damages.
