Ideal candidates have 2+ years for Associate or 7+ years for Examiner, with strong problem solving, communication, and negotiation skills. The role offers remote work several days per month and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of relevant experience for Associate Claims Examiner
• 7+ years of relevant experience for Claims Examiner
• Experience as an examiner, adjuster, paralegal, attorney, or in a related role
• Specialized experience in Directors & Officers, E&O, Cyber liability and/or other professional claims is a plus
• Multi-jurisdictional knowledge, advanced degrees, and/or JD are a plus

Aufgaben

• Coverage review and policy confirmation; prepare letters as needed
• Conduct detailed investigations into claims, including liability and damages assessment
• Retain and direct independent adjusters during investigations
• Apply liability and case law to evaluate exposure
• Maintain reserves reflecting liability and damages as claims develop
• Manage files; negotiate settlements with claimants or attorneys; oversee defense counsel
• Prepare reserve authority requests and various reports
• Collaborate with underwriting, compliance, and actuarial teams
