Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD required.
• 3–7 years of experience with commercial accounts for specialty insurance claims.
• Active adjuster licensing in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement timely resolution strategies to mitigate indemnity and expense exposure.
• Develop and implement strategy related to coverage issues with the overall matters entrusted to the handler's care.
• Identify and assess coverage issues, draft coverage position letters, and retain coverage counsel when necessary.
• Maintain contact with underwriter, defense counsel, program manager and broker to communicate developments.
• Investigate claims and review insureds' materials, pleadings and relevant documents.
• Identify and review jurisdiction-specific statutes, rules and case law.
