Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Senior Claims Consultant to serve as the client’s advocate with carriers and defense counsel across the claims lifecycle. The role focuses on policy interpretation, coverage analysis, advocacy, and timely resolution, supporting producers and account managers to retain and grow client relationships.

The position requires 5+ years of commercial claims experience, strong communication, and proficiency with claims management systems.

Qualifications

• Experience advocating for clients and resolving coverage disputes.
• Ability to analyze policy language and propose coverage solutions.
• Strong negotiation skills with insurers and defense counsel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for clients with carriers, adjusters, TPAs, and defense counsel.
• Consult with clients on claims issues and provide guidance on timelines.
• Review policy language and propose coverage solutions in disputed situations.
• Negotiate settlements to expedite fair outcomes and support client retention.
• Assist producers and account managers with claims-related support and coordination.
• Prepare reports and attend meetings with clients and carriers.
