Job summary

HUB International in Miami seeks a Senior Claims Consultant to advocate for clients, interpret policy language, and coordinate with carriers, adjusters, and defense counsel throughout the life cycle of claims. You will support Producers and Account Managers, review coverage, negotiate settlements, and ensure timely, accurate documentation in HUB systems.

5+ years of commercial claims experience and relevant licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant work experience in commercial insurance claims
• Strong advocacy and litigation-style negotiation with carriers
• Ability to interpret policy language and provide coverage guidance
• Experience supporting Producers and Account Managers in client retention

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client’s primary advocate with carriers, adjusters, TPAs, and defense counsel throughout the life cycle of claims
• Consultation with clients on claims issues and review of coverage
• Negotiate with insurers to expedite fair settlement of claims
• Participate in sales presentations to prospective clients
• Prepare claims servicing instructions tailored to client needs
• Review and comment on policy language for account teams
• Liaise with carriers and HUB systems to ensure accurate data entries
