Job summary

HUB International seeks a Senior Claims Consultant to act as the client’s primary advocate with carriers and adjusters, interpreting policy language and guiding coverage decisions. You will support Producers and Account Managers to retain and grow client relationships, handling complex claims with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial insurance claims experience, strong advocacy, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial insurance claims experience with client-side advocacy and carrier dispute resolution.
• Strong ability to challenge carrier coverage denials and provide clear coverage arguments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client’s primary advocate with carriers, adjusters, TPAs, and defense counsel.
• Communicate with clients on claims issues and timelines; provide guidance on coverage and claim handling.
• Review policy wording and comment on coverage issues for account teams.
• Prepare reports for management and participate in client meetings.
