Job summary

The Senior Claims Consultant at HUB International is a client-facing role that applies expertise in interpreting policy language, coverage analysis, advocacy, and dispute resolution. You will act as a liaison between clients, adjusters, defense counsel, insurance companies, claims management, and HUB colleagues, delivering professional service that meets or exceeds expectations.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral & written communication skills and ability to articulate coverage positions clearly.
• Ability to challenge carrier coverage denials and advise on policy language.
• Experience advocating for clients with carriers, adjusters, and defense counsel.
• Proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes on complex claims.
• Proficient with MS Office and claims management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client’s primary advocate with carriers, adjusters, TPAs, and defense counsel throughout the life cycle of claims.
• Consultation with clients on claims issues and review of coverage/claim handling.
• Negotiate with insurers and defense counsel to expedite fair settlements.
• Assist in sales presentations and in preparing claims servicing instructions tailored to client needs.
• Provide guidance to clients on claim processes, timelines, and likely outcomes.
