Job summary

SpaceX in College Station, TX is seeking a Sr. Construction Project Manager to lead heavy civil and utility infrastructure projects from initiation to handover.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, vendors, and contractors to deliver world-class facilities on time and within budget. The role requires strong PM capabilities, excellent cost control, and the ability to coordinate approvals and field resolutions across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or an engineering related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in construction, engineering, or facilities management; or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Experience with estimating, cost control, schedule, and contractor management on major construction projects.
• Onsite work at College Station, TX; no remote work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and own the full lifecycle of civil, structural, and utility-related projects to achieve on-time and under-budget delivery with customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance on ROM costs and preliminary scope.
• Gather proposals from architects, engineers, vendors, or contractors.
• Evaluate competitive bids and review proposals for cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop final project cost and schedule; implement controls for cost/schedule/scope.
• Write and manage construction contracts across multiple disciplines through close-out.
• Coordinate with city, county, and governmental approvals.
• Interact with contractors, fabricators, and internal customers.
