Job summary
KPFF Special Projects Division in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior Civil Transportation Engineer to lead complex roadway projects, deliver design-build and design-bid-build solutions, and drive client satisfaction. You will work at the heart of downtown Long Beach, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to apply your transportation expertise across waterfront and industrial contexts.
The role requires a California PE or reciprocity, 8+ years of civil design experience, and proficiency in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Minimum of 8 years of civil design experience with a California PE or ability to reciprocity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil transportation design on complex roadway projects and design-build/design-bid-build works.
- Manage project tasks, budgets, and schedules; coordinate with teams and clients.
- Mentor junior staff and support professional development.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to Caltrans/Greenbook standards.
