KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Long Beach, CA office to support the Special Projects Division. You will contribute to heavy civil and industrial infrastructure design, site development, and project management while delivering exceptional client service.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor teammates, and engage with clients to ensure successful project outcomes and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum three years of full-time experience in civil/site development engineering design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
• Proficiency and experience in AutoCAD for construction document creation.
• Preferred familiarity with Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering expertise to diverse projects, collaborating with teams on design and development.
• Contribute to waterfront, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Assist in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project coordination, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify project requirements.
